Who We Are
Gender Alchemy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting and empowering trans and gender expansive individuals through community nourishment and advocacy. We believe in the transformative power of joy and connection, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
Our mission is to conjure trans and gender expansive joy through community nourishment and advocacy. We do this by providing a free meal at every event we host, essential resources and peer support for our community members. We envision a future where trans and gender expansive individuals are healthy, wealthy, and well-fed, and we work tirelessly to create programs and initiatives that promote well-being, resilience, and empowerment. At Gender Alchemy, we are committed to building a vibrant community that celebrates diversity and champions the rights of all gender identities.
How We Support Our Mission
We host trans and gender expansive peer support groups, casual hangout sessions and all-ages community potlucks.
We offer practical workshops such as cooking, financial literacy, and STI prevention to community members.
We also organize special seasonal and cultural events to build connection, skills, and well-being.
